Debout les morts, le cancer gagne.
Je sens venir au loin la fin,
Brûler mon âme, noir est le vide
Qui nous sépare du lendemain.
Autour de moi, j’entends les rats,
L’hiver arrive et dans ses bras
L’horizon même semble funèbre,
Quand tout s’éteint et au matin,
Regarde-la comme elle avance
Aveuglément vers le néant.
Tu sais la pluie froide est acide,
Consume et tue tous ses enfants.
Hier encore ouais j’y croyais,
Hier encore ouais j’y croyais,
Mais aujourd’hui tout a changé.
Je la vois descendre, tomber sur terre,
Je respire enfin mon nucléaire.
I saw tons of great bands in the 80s at places like The Mabhuy Gardens, Thw Farm, and Gilman Street Project.
Those bands had a sound and feeling that's hard to sum up--- they were Lo-Fi even thougb many were accomplished musicians, they were raw and crucial and provided a soundtrack for pissed off yourh who WERE going to be heard whether the system liked it or not----- sneak into the back entrance or kick in the door----- it didnt matter which.
Condor sounds snd feels like some of the great 80s hardcore and punk bands that shaped the Punk/ Hardcore landscape of today.
im not surprised-- this is a one man operation from the drummer of Rixe If you are into French Punk and Oi it is CRIMINAL not tp have this in your collection.. East Bay Working Class
Been listening to punk since the late eighties, and I can tell you this is great stuff. 77-style punk with great songwrting and melodies that will remain in your head for days. Thomas Mellaerts
Heady hardcore punk from Black Aubergine has groove, heft, and an experimental edge percolating behind the blown-out surface. Bandcamp New & Notable May 23, 2023
